QIGONG is an ancient Chinese practice and consists of body movement, mental concentration and breath work.

Still, the focus and the effects of Qigong are on the energy level: cultivating the "Qi" or "life force energy."

Qigong is generally considered as a health maintenance exercise, but it can also be practiced for specific purposes such as: Relaxation & Stress Management, Self-Healing, Spiritual Integration.

A schedule for weekly classes, one-day workshops and weekend retreats can be found on our "Calendar."

Qigong Postures aim at spontaneous movement through activating the dantien (energy center in the lower abdomen) and opening the main channels so that stored emotions can be released and diseased Qi expelled from the body. As a result, spontaneous healing often occurs on the physical and the emotional level (even past-life trauma may be healed).

Daoyin exercises complement this process by further expelling diseased energy through movement, breathing and concentration. Different daoyin exercises focus on specific energy circulations and specific parts of the body that require additional healing.

Qigong Meditation is another method to enhance the self-healing process. Meditation techniques can help to activate the energy system, eliminate Binqi from the body and heal diseased and problem areas. In addition, meditation is a powerful tool for transformation. When we are free of disturbing thoughts, negative emotions and diseased energy, we are more aligned with our Higher Self and so we can eliminate many primary causes of dis-ease.
Qigong for Self Healing

Qigong is a very powerful and proven system for self-healing. The strong healing effect of our Qigong practice is based on the concept of expelling Binqi ("been chee") or diseased energy from the body. This is done by activating the internal energy system through Qigong Postures, Daoyin (movement exercises) and Qigong Meditation.
